Dear Parents,
I want to let you know that next week on Tuesday, December 4th, Detective Matt Fleming of the Bedford Police Department will be giving a presentation to our seventh and eighth students on social media. In this age-appropriate presentation, he will present some of the dangers that can arise when using social media and how to be safe. The last time Detective Fleming visited our school two years ago, he received rave reviews from both students and faculty. With many of our students utilizing social media is some shape or form, it is our hope that this type of education helps our youth avoid potential unfortunate pitfalls.
That evening at 7 PM in the Lurgio Media Center, Detective Fleming will give a presentation that is geared toward parents. Click here to view our flier. The content of the evening presentation is more mature, and therefore parents should exercise caution before bringing their children to this event.
