Dear Lurgio Families,

With our 8th grade students at Canobie Lake Park and our 7th graders at Gunstock, we made it through the last full week of school in style. After a very active week of celebration and fun, your students will no doubt need the weekend before heading into Move-up Monday.

Enjoy the last weekend of the school year. We look forward to welcoming incoming seventh graders, enjoying activities with our rising eighth graders, and sending the new freshmen off the BHS on Monday.

I wish you and your families a wonderful summer,

Special Note: Canobie Lake Field Trip Information (8th grade parents)

Dear 8th Grade Families,

As you know, tomorrow, Thursday, June 6 is the 8th grade trip to Canobie Lake Park. In order to maximize student time in the park, this trip is an an extended day. Buses pick up students at Canobie after completing their McKelvie and Lurgio afternoon bus runs here in Bedford. Students typically leave Salem between 4:00 and 4:30, which means that they begin arriving back at Lurgio around 4:30. In order to facilitate smooth traffic upon the students’ return, please park in a parking space so that vehicles are not stacked on the hill at the campus entrance.

Thank you for working with us to ensure that all buses are able to enter the campus without delay.

All the best,

Nate Fellman
