Special Note: COVID Communication Protocols

 Dear Lurgio Families,

As part of the Bedford School District Reopening Plan for the 2020-2021 school year, each school has designated a point of contact for communication regarding COVID-19 matters.

At Lurgio, our school nurse Evelyn Chessie is the main point of contact. Please contact her by phone (603) 310-9100 ext. 34415 or by email at chessiee@sau25.net.

It is important for the school to know:

  1. When a student or staff member has symptoms of COVID-19 and is getting tested, awaiting the results of a test, or is quarantining,
  2. When a member of the household tests positive for COVID-19 and a student or staff member has been instructed to quarantine for a period of time,
  3. When a student or staff member is not symptomatic but tests positive for COVID-19 and has been instructed to quarantine for a period of time, or
  4. When a student or staff member has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been instructed to quarantine for a period of time.

We thank you in advance for your willingness to share this information in the hopes that we can decrease the spread of COVID-19 in our schools. Your privacy is important to us and by communicating with the school nurse directly, we can better protect sensitive medical information.

As always, please continue to screen your students before they arrive at school. For the latest information from DHHS regarding COVID-19, please click [here].

Sincerely,

Ed Joyce
