Dear Parents and Guardians,
Today, all of our Lurgio students attended a presentation by Detective Matt Fleming of the Bedford Police Department on internet safety. The topic of keeping our kids safe as they enter the digital world is very serious and a bit heavy. The students were excellent audience members, and the message of “be informed and use caution” resonated with them. It is our hope that Detective Fleming’s presentation will help our student make good, safe decisions with their technology.
This evening at 7 PM in the Lurgio Media Center, Detective Fleming will give a presentation that is geared towards parents. Click here to view our flier. The content of the evening presentation is more mature, and therefore parents should exercise caution before bringing their children to this event.
