Dear Parents and Guardians,
As you know, your child attended a performance of Winston Churchill: The Blitz at the Capitol Center in Concord this morning. After delivering a great performance, the actor accidentally stepped off the stage. He took a significant fall, was injured, and needed medical attention. The students in attendance witnessed this event. They were quiet, respectful, and orderly as they were ushered out of the theater. Some of the teachers returned to the theater prior to leaving on the buses and the actor was in a chair and conscious.
I wanted to make you aware that they were witness to the incident. I thank our students for their exceptional behavior throughout the play and during the incident at the end. I hope for a speedy recovery for the actor.
