Dear Lurgio Community,
I am writing to let you know of an incident that happened this afternoon in the Bedford High parking lot. At approximately 2:45 PM, BHS received a report of a person in their top parking lot with what looked like a side-arm. The report was immediately relayed to the Bedford Police Department and they responded immediately in their vehicles with lights flashing. They found a parent who was picking up their student wearing a flashlight that was holstered. It was a simple misunderstanding.
Principal Hagen reported that Bedford Police response was outstanding.
