Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am pleased to announce Mrs. Kristen Gauthier as the new Assistant Principal/Athletics Director at the Lurgio Middle School. Many of you already know her as an outstanding teacher from the 7th and 8th grade. With over fifteen years of teaching experience in mathematics and science, Ms. Gauthier brings a wealth of instructional knowledge to her post. As a collegiate track and field athlete, she brings a wonderful perspective to her role as the Athletic Director. In addition to her extensive knowledge and broad experience, Mrs. Gauthier has the strong character that is the bedrock of a great school administrator.
I feel fortunate to have such an intelligent and capable educator joining our leadership team at the Middle School. Mrs. Gauthier will join us in her new role on July 2, and we will be working hard all summer to make sure that Lurgio is ready for our students in August. I wish you all a wonderful summer.
