Dear Lurgio Families,
I just want to drop you a quick note with two updates from Lurgio. First, this morning, we conducted a lockdown drill. It was a routine drill, and there was no emergency. All students and staff are safe and going about the business of teaching and learning as usual. On a positive note, the drill went very well, and our safety protocols were successfully tested.
Second, I must apologize for an error in last week’s Lurgio News. We mistakenly identified Monday’s holiday as Civil Rights Day. That is an outdated reference, and we have since corrected the record that school was closed to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
